The Maynard triplets (Len, Con and Margo) are in their final term at the Chalet School in this book. Gradually, their futures - very different for each of them - become clear.
While it's mostly based in typical school incidents, I thought this a positive and hopeful ending to the series. There are some very moving moments.
Highly recommended to anyone who likes this series, or who just wants a light read for the summer.
(However, I was less impressed when I re-read this, yet again, seventeen years later. I wrote a much longer review of 'Prefects of the Chalet School' which offers a rather different point of view.)
