Screwape Proposes a Toast (by CS Lewis)

This book, 'Screwtape Proposes a Toast'  is a collection of short sermons and talks.  They were originally given by the excellent Christian writer CS Lewis, and collected in this volume.

They include a speech supposedly given by the senior demon Screwtape, who was made famous in the better-known 'Screwtape Letters'. But other items in the collection are not connected; this book is not a sequel to the original Screwtape classic.

The author's usual clear, intelligent (but never condescending) language explains theological concepts brilliantly.

Highly recommended.
