Putting Away Childish Things (by David Seamands)

This is another book that we acquired when some friends left the country, and culled their book collection. I'd never previously heard of David Seamands, which - it turns out in retrospect - was a good thing, as I read the book without any preconceptions.

'Putting away childish things' is a Christian book, looking at some of the ways in which our background and childhood can impinge negatively on our adult lives.

It discusses various possibilities and ways in which God can heal and set people free to live their adult lives fully for Jesus.

I really enjoyed this book.

(You can read my longer review of 'Putting Away Childish Things' written six years later, if you want to find out why it was a good thing I knew nothing about the author the first time).
