The story is about Hilary who finds evidence that her husband David is having an affair. Unsurprisingly, her world turns upside-down as she tries to come to terms with it.
This book works very well as a sequel, in my view. It features the same neighbourhood as the first book, but from a totally different perspective. Hilary's character is well-developed and she becomes much more believable.
There's rather a predictable ending, but the novel was well-written. Overall I thought it was an enjoyable and relaxing light read.
