Much Obliged, Jeeves (by PG Wodehouse)

I do like PG Wodehouse books. They're excellent to read aloud with my teenage sons. They're also good books to relax with for an hour or two of light reading, with no real tension, and without much brain power required.

In 'Much Obliged, Jeeves', the charming but naive Bertie Wooster goes to the delightfully named town of Market Snodbury. His aim is to help his friend Ginger in a political campaign.

As ever, with this books, poor Bertie is beset with ex-fiancĂ©es.  Worse, he is afraid that one of them might decide to marry him after all.

And as usual, his intelligent and literary-minded valet Jeeves solves his problems in masterly fashion.

Recommended if you like this kind of satirical humour set amongst the idle rich in the early part of the 20th century.
