In 'Bless me Father', the curate - Father Neil - goes for his first curacy to Father Duddleswell, a bad-tempered but kind and elderly priest. Humorous situations arise as Father Neil learns about his job and the people in the parish.
Gentle fun is poked at the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church, and some of the people in it. Not to be taken seriously, nor for those who take offence easily.
It works well as a book to read aloud, or for a light afternoon's reading. Recommended.
